CarveWright puts precision of CNC machining, cutting, and routing in your hands

By Lester Smallwood at 10/21/08 11:14

I was doing some research into some smaller scale CNC machines for my home woodworking business and I cam across the CarveWright 3D CNC Router.

This machine will enable me to create plenty of projects with sculptured relief that I could have never done with a traditional hand router, carving knives or mallet and chisel.

I believe this machine is going to be the best purchase I have ever made because it will enable me to do so much more. For a smaller scale woodworker, this machine is going to be super because it affords the opportunity to create intricate designs without the expense of creating a design then making the CNC program to create it.

If you are interested in learning more about this product like i did, check out the Wood Carving Machine Tips website that I found.

You can also get special woodworking bits, a design scanning probe that enables you to reproduce pieces, repair antique furniture, or even copy a trim or molding pattern. You can purchase accessories like dust collector equipment, benches and other great additions. This machine will easily fit in your workshop or basement and you can start creating your own patterns in minutes.

Rotary Broaching - A time saving and money increasing trend

Rotary broaching seems to be the way to go if you are machining accurate polygon forms onto the inside or outside diameter of machined parts.

This process will save an entire step since you can machine complex shapes on standard CNC lathes and mills, screw machines and manual machines without adding a secondary operation. This translates into profit savings.
