just bought a meldas trying to communacate with computer to send programs I have a 8 pin male connection 7 on top one on the bottom what kind of cable do I need? and what parameters do I need to look at

Please try to be more helpful... what control etc. Your question is like saying I have a VW car and it doesn't start, what should I do..
