constant "2ND LS" alarm

hello to all, i am having trouble with a constant "2nd LS" alarm when i try to zero the x axis. on the control i get an "over travel" alarm. i can move the axis turning on the 2nd ls remove switch, once i manually move it to within allowed travel, the 2nd LS will stay on and if i try to zero the axis, it will all happen again. any info will be greatly apreciated.

THE HOME OR DECEL SWITCH MAY BE "STICKING" AND MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED. IF THE HOME SWITCH STICKS, THE AXIS MOVES FURTHER IN THE + DIRECTION UNTIL IT "BUMPS" THE OVERTRAVEL LIMIT SWITCH. TRY REPLACING THE HOME SWITCH CONTACT.
