MYCENTER 1 ZERO RETURN ISSUES.

JACOB from CALIFORNIA -

Hello all,

i have a mycenter 1 with a fanuc 3m,

this is how the problem started i could not zero the y axis, i powered up the control while pressing the (- + . ) keys to go to the fanuc background screen to stablish the zero point, well that lost the parameters i got the lader and opr. manuals and the parameters from kitamura i have gone thru and matched parameters now the machine powers up with a over travel alarm, but if i trie to zero the X axis i goes into hard limit and servo ovrload the X axis does not move to the positive direction only to the negative, i moved the table to the center manualy, i think i need to reestablish the zero points, doe anyone have a procedure or an idea of how i can fix these problem? i also could use the fanuc manuals for these machine.

thanks for any feedback i really need the help.

bit suprised you lost parameters, but usually reference problems are due to soft limits. with the axis in middle positions try nc off and power on pressing the P and Cancel buttons. this normally works.

Thanks Phil, that worked i got all the axis to zero out,

the yellow light alarm button is still flashing and when i press it it shows a number 2 on the tool position display, i dont have my alarm parameter manual so i dont know what it can be ill call kitamura in the morning and see if they have any advice.
