I need some 8.5 x 11 x 1/4 pieces of plastic (or wood such as medium or high density fiberboard) in which have been cut various curved shapes that have been drawn with a custom CAD program.I've tried cutting the curves in some MDF, and while it works, any flaws are magnified in the final product. I'm wondering if there is a service somewhere where I can provide descriptions (e.g. a list of cartesian coordinates or something similar) for the shapes to someone who has a computer controlled machine to cut them. (Since I authored the CAD program, I have some flexibility in how the shape descriptions are formatted) Any suggestions? I need a total of about 10 pages cut. I only need one copy of each page. Naturally, I would not like to spend $100 per page.

Hi Chris, I can cut your templates for you out of a variety of materials that fit you budget. You can contact me at cmercer@pennecon.com or phone at 709-687-0504. If you send me your CAD files or cartesian coordinates please send them in DXF and DWG format. I use matercam to program with. Best Regards, Colin
