I see this message on my VK-45 when I attempt to turn on the machine too soon after then main breaker is engaged. My assumption is that it takes a few seconds for the computer to boot (about 60 seconds on mine). So after engaging the main breaker I wait for a bit before hitting the green start button. The times I have had to hit ES I simply toggle the main breaker to reset everthing.
