| cnc-forum - Hitachi SeikiHT23J Lathe M-Code to bypass the door interlockJay Johnson from Sterling, IL - I need the M-Codes to turn ON and OFF the door interlock on our lathe. I would like to be able to bypass the door so I can polish parts while they are still in the machine. Does anyone know what they are? Comment #1 Madonno from Canada - I haven't heard of an M code to bypass a safety feature! All you can do is getting a key for the lock (if you don't have one, screw off the one on the door). AND BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU POLISH THE PART! Comment #2 fatkid from ashland,Ohio - uuummmm!!!! IM telling:) We just got busted for having our interlocks bypassed on just about all of our cnc's. I would be willing to sign a release form to run without the interlocks.Im a tooling machinist in thetool room and some times i need the door out of my way to see what/ where im at. Comment #3 Madonno from Canada - I just moved to Canada and this company here has all the locks bypassed! I wonder if the insurance company knows...
