'Haas vs Gildemeister'

I have a Haas vf-4 and for years thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. The next time around I bought a Gildemeister DMU-50. I can't begin to tell you how impressed I am with speed, accuracy and 5 axes that I thought I could never afford. To watch my parts flipping on axes and never taking them out of the vise for another setup just kills me. man I'm sold.

I run a deckel mayho dmu-50....Sorry man but what a piece of @#&%. We have nothing but problems out of the tool changer. The heidenhan control is a good control system but the machine just isnt built heavy enough. Now the hermle parked right next to it is the best 5-axis ive ever ran.
