Fanuc 31i Ladder Password

We have 8 robodrill machines from fanuc with 31i control. We need to edit the ladder and have found that it has a password protecting it. We have contacted the machine builder and everyone involved with this machine and no one has put a password on it. Is there a way to reset the password or to find out what the password is so that we can make edits?

If you send us the copy of Ladder saved on memory card by e-mail we will let you know the password.

If you email the ladder of it in memory card format, I can tell you the password of it.Use the software fanuc ladder-III, you can try it.

typically the ladder password will be the numeric part of the ladder version numer. for example: if the ladder version number is I811144, then the password is 811144. This may not work for certain custom NC controls.
