spindle will not start on takisawa 108

i have a takisawa 108 lathe

every time i close the jaws and press cycle start

the alarm comes on saying close the jaws

is there any way i can cure this

check limit switch or proximity switch.

i want some information from u it is ID/OD slection switches is selected properly for right job
