Main to subspindle part transfer

I.G. (71.210.164.98) -

I need help programming a part transfer between the main and sub on a Mori Seiki SLS150 with a Mori 501 fanuc based control. I am able to transfer fine if doing a cut off from a bar puller but can not transfer when doing slug work.

Every thing goes fine until the main spidle unclamps after the sub has grabbed the part. I also have a Daewoo sub spindle machine and it uses a M31 to tell machine to ignore the open chuck condition. Does Mori have something similar?

Have you checked the limit switch on the unclamp light is working, "no light on, it will stop there "

Sometime the switch breaks down across part of the switch area which is in contact rear spindle ring
