Any one using a induction machine for shrinking tools like OSG HAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE SMALLER TOOLS 3MM ON DOWN

What type of induction heater/tool hloder are you using?some of the heaters out there are to "strong" .They put to much heat in to quickly and cause the carbide to expand just as fast as the holder itself.I need to know your x-act problem i guess. We use an I-tec.It works great on 6mm and bigger but anything smaller we use a cheap heat gun from lowes:) Takes a little longer (10 minuntes max) but at least you can get the tool back out! DONT USE HIGH SPEED TOOLING !!! then you have a permanent built ever lasting tool:)
